Breed by Triple D Genetics, Oklahoma
“Oaklee” is a very popular stud ewe at Owen Club Lambs. She’s the one that everyone ask about when we walk through the flock. She was shown as a lamb by the Pickering family. Oaklee hung many banners in the jackpot circut and won the 2022 Oregon State Fair Champion Ewe. Oaklee also had a twin sister litter mate that sold to Chance Neff for his donor program. Following her show career, we plan to move her to the donor pen and hope to generate several more.
Breed by Pagliaro-Bohan Club Lambs, California
“Top Dollar” JJL0951 is one impressive female. She has been successful for J&J Livestock and us in producing wethers that win on several levels. Top Dollar was the 2018 Reno Nugget All American Breed Champion and the 2018 California State Fair Supreme Grand Champion. Her twin siter was shown by Haylee Byrd and had an even more impressive show background hanging many banners on the west coast. We are extremely excited about her future as a donor at Owen Club Lambs.
Bred by Hassebrook Show Lambs, Nebraska
HSL 6143 goes back to one of Hassebrook’s original females. This female has been one of the most consistent producers we have had to date. Every year she lays down and gives us a set of ram lambs that compete in the show ring. We were fortunate enough to finally get a buck lamb out of her in 2017 and he is certainly worth leaving in tact. “Double Tap” is impressive from any angle u see him from.
